After twenty something years of marriage and working to raise beautiful ones, I am about to be single. This is a chronicle of these events, though not so unique in this day and age, it will be for me. I write to clear my head and to understand myself as it seems not a lot of people do. I've come to a point in my life where I'm really ok with that but I do want to be happy and one day, one day I'd like to have a happy healthy relationship.

It just seems so strange that one signature can change the course of your life. But there it is and now it's done. Legally my marriage has ended. I'm not having second thoughts. It's my decision and yet it's still just sad. Now I have to carve out this new life for myself. I'm scared to death.
